About Emma.
Emma Bayless is a graduate student at Texas State University in the MFA Lighting Design program. She got a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts Studies from Brigham Young University. She loves everything about lighting design, from the research to the storytelling to creating something beautiful in collaboration with other designers. Other hobbies include playing games, violin performance, cooking and baking, and reading novels. She lived in Japan from 2017-2019, becoming competent at conversational Japanese.
